Jennifer Garner Returns to 'Felicity' - May 1,
2002
Did you know that Jennifer Garner worked as a hostess at Isabella's restaurant
in Los Angeles before she became a celebrated actress? She took the job
to make ends meet while waiting for her acting break.
After five years of auditions and guest-starring gigs, Jennifer scored
big acting alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt in the series, "Time of
Your Life." Poised to be the big hit of the 1999 TV season, "Time
of Your Life" quickly fell out of favour with TV viewers. Jennifer,
unfortunately, was back on the audition circuit.
Despite the Hollywood hardship, Jennifer's personal life at the time couldn't
have been better. In 1998 the actress landed a guest-appearance on "Felicity"
playing Noel Crane's love interest. Jennifer spent a lot of time on the
"Felicity" set where she became attracted to actor Scott Foley.
The two eventually married and have been a favorite Hollywood couple ever
since.
Jennifer's acting career took off in 2000. First she starred in "Dude,
Where's My Car," followed by "Pearl Harbor" in 2001. But
the actress really found her career-defining role in the ABC TV series
"Alias" in 2001. "Alias" has become one of the biggest
hits of the 2001-2002 TV season.
TV fans will get a Jennifer Garner double-dose next week. In addition
to her regular gig, the actress returns to "Felicity" on Wednesday,
May 8th. There, Jennifer reprises her "Felicity" character Hanna,
who is trying to make amends with her ex-boyfriend Noel (played by Foley).
